BRENDAN BROWN JOINS WESTSIDE ESTATE AGENCY

NEW BEGINNING FROM NEW YORK

It is with great pleasure, excitement, and honor to share the news that Brendan Brown has joined the Westside Estate Agency in Beverly Hills. After relocating from New York City, Brendan felt it was time to return home. While he will always cherish the tremendous amount of memories and successes he had with Douglas Elliman in NYC; Brendan is extremely excited for this next chapter.

My career in real estate began at age 18, and has spanned coast to coast. From Orange County and San Diego, to New York CIty, and now Los Angeles. It started renovating and designing investment properties, and ultimately opening his own real estate brokerage in Newport Beach at 23. The following years saw the brokerage grow, as well as his other businesses. In 2016 he began spending large amounts of time on both coasts and abroad.

BRENDAN MAKES SOME CHANGES

In 2018, Brendan made the decision to relocate to New York City. Upon his arrival in the city, he signed with Douglas Elliman and Knight Frank. This further allowed him to provide the best service to his clients, with the best brokerage in the city. It provided access to the best resources and services available for himself and his clients, worldwide. His tenaciousness, and his “you don’t get what you don’t ask for” mentality, have only further afforded both his clients and colleagues the best experiences, opportunities, and results.

2020 saw Brendan return to Newport Beach and once again call California home. Like his previous move across the country, he wanted the best brokerage to call home for both himself and clients. Westside Estate Agency was the only place he wanted to resume his career in California. Most importantly, his expansion into Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Malibu, and Miami. So he came on board in May 2021. His mentor and business partner, Andreas Elsenhans, has been instrumental in bringing him onboard with WEA.

WHAT ELSE DOES BRENDAN BROWN DO?

Aside from his real estate and media endeavors, Brendan is also a writer. He held his own personal contributor panel for the Huffington Post, and has written for GQ and Men’s Fashion Post. He is also a GQ, Mr. Porter, and Travel + Leisure Insider. He has collaborated and worked with many fashion and lifestyle brands, publications, and companies over the years. In 2018, he was named as one of New York’s “Men About Town.”

As an avid world traveler, Brendan traveled to over 29 countries before he turned 30. The one that forever holds the largest place in his heart was his first trip to South Africa in 2012. He has returned seven times to Johannesburg and other locales to work hands-on with the wild lion population in Africa. His work with the African Lion Conservation, and their ongoing efforts for the conservation of lions in the wild, has been one of the most rewarding things of his life.

PHILANTHROPY

Philanthropy has long played a vast role in Brendan’s life. His largest role is being a member of the board of the Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research. He is one of the Founding Members and Chairs of the Young Professionals Committee, the first sub-committee for the foundation in 25 years. The Young Professionals Committee hosts the foundation’s annual Midsummer Angel Gala, which he helped spearhead in 2019 to massive success. The foundation also hosts New York’s iconic Angel Ball each year. He is also actively involved with the AIDS Walk Foundation and the Central Park Conservancy. In Los Angeles, he frequently spends his time with Gods Love We Deliver and the Hoag Hospital Foundation.

Born and raised in Newport Beach, Brendan graduated Magna Cum Lade in Finance from Chapman University. Brendan Brown holds dual real estate licenses in both California and New York, quickly putting him on track to becoming a bi-coastal force to be reckoned with. It is Brendan’s entrepreneurial mindset, creative and innovative thinking; that has enabled him to provide his clients with the best service possible for over a decade. With his vast nationwide real estate experience, fashion and media positions, and love for philanthropy; he is a perfect addition to the Westside Estate Agency.
