LINDSAY FORGES A NEW PATH
Lindsay Lohan is back! In true Lohan form, Lindsay dropped the news a re-introduction of sorts. She is launching a new podcast with Studio71. While she didn’t give away any clues to it’s title, the yet-unnamed podcast will allow Lohan to “share her authentic voice,” giving the audience and it’s listeners “a chance to experience a never-before-seen side” of the actress.
WHAT HASN’T SHE DONE?
In adding a podcast to a resume that began when she was just three, Lindsay Lohan is more than a multi-hypenthate. Actress, singer, dancer, author, reality tv star, nightlife impresario, and NFT expert. She has largely remained out of the public eye, as her focus on work and philanthropy has kept her overseas. Her podcast is not the only thing she has in the works. A few months before the pandemic shut the world down in 2020, Lindsay had announced on New Year’s Eve with Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper, that she was moving back to the United States. Her announcement stated she was returning home regain her career as a movie star, and her rightful place in Hollywood. “I’m taking the life back that I worked so hard for, and sharing it with my family and you guys.”
WHAT’S NEXT FOR LINDSAY LOHAN
Aside from moving back stateside, Lindsay has quite a few known projects in the works. While the pandemic barred her return to Australia for filming of season two and three of the Masked Singer. Next month Lindsay begins filming her new Netflix holiday romantic comedy. In the film she stars as a spoiled hotel heiress, who receives help from a scruffy lodge owner and his daughter. This is after she loses her memory in a skiing accident. Since the film doesn’t start shooting until November, the holiday hit wont hit the streaming giant until Christmas 2022!
Lohan has slowly been making a return to form of a fully cemented A-list star. Taking a stand after nearly a decade of being hounded by paparazzi and the tabloids, Lindsay began to withdraw. 2013 saw her film “The Canyons,” directed by Paul Scrader, debut at the Venice Film Festival. Later that year, her Oprah Winfrey helmed docu-series, aptly titled Lindsay, wrapped in New York City.
By the end of 2013 she had moved abroad. First to London, where she lived while she appeared in the West End production of “Speed-the-Plow.” Then it was Europe, and then Dubai. During those years, she had a recurring role on the British TV comedy “Sick Note” in 2018. She kicked off 2019 off by starring in the MTV reality show “Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club.” The end of the year saw her appear as a judge on the Australian version of “The Masked Singer.”
Here’s to La Lohan landing home soon, and the Lindsay Lohan podcast becoming a must listen! Lindsay plans on using her podcast to “connect with more of my fans and have intimate conversations with friends and thought leaders across all industries.”
